This year’s final concerts

6 July 2017

20-22 September at 5:00 p.m. within the 11th Michał Spisak International Music Competition will hold the final concerts with all the finalists in disciplines of violin, viola and oboe. The concerts will mark the winners of this year’s competition, which brought together a total of 143 instrumentalists. Young musicians will play on the stage of the Theater Hall in Zagłębie Palace of Culture with the Zabrze Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Sławomir Chrzanowski. The finalists will perform pieces of most famous composers, including Michał Spisak. Final concerts are the last stage of auditions for 12 participants from three categories. For the jury it’s the last moment to deal out the podium and for the public it’s an opportunity to listen to great music and see that members of the jury have a hard nut to crack.
