Wiktoria Czyżewska started learning to play the instrument in the Józef Elsner State Music School in Warsaw in 2012. She learnt how to play the double bass
in the class of Kazimierz Jendrysiak until 2017. She continued her education
in the Mieczysław Karłowicz State Music School in Katowice supervised by Maciej Spychała. She completed it in 2018 with the excellent mark from the main instrument. On 7 June 2018 she performed as a soloist with the Silesian Chamber Orchestra in the Silesian Philharmonic during the concert of graduates of the 2nd degree Karłowicz State Music School in Katowice. She is currently
a 2nd year student of Bachelor studies in double bass at the Vocal-Instrumental Department in the class of dr hab. Jan Kotula. Her achievements include cooperation with the following orchestras: the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra, the Young Polish Philharmonic Orchestra, with which she had
the pleasure of participating twice in concert tours around the country, AUKSO, the State Folk Group of Song and Dance ‘Mazowsze’ and the Warsaw Festival Orchestra. Her achievements include the special prize at the International Double Bass Anton Rubinstein Competition in Dusseldorf, the 3rd place
in the Cello and Double Bass Competition in Kowalewo Pomorskie in the OPEN CONTRABASS group, the 3rd place in the CEA Competition in Warsaw
and a distinction during the Wiktor Gadziński Competition in Katowice.
She performed as a soloist e.g. in the Silesian Philharmonic, in the ball room
of the Łańcut Castle during Zenon Brzewski Music Courses; in the European Centre of Music during Winter Music Academy classes. She also participated
in master classes with outstanding soloists and pedagogues, such as: Roman Patkolo, Bogusław Furtok, Leszek Sokołowski or Jan Kotula.
