Marcin Jurgielewicz was born on 11 May 1997. His adventure with music started at the age of 10 in the 1st degree Ignacy Paderewski State Music School
in Białystok in the double bass class of prof. Leszek Sokołowski. His education continued in the 2nd degree Witold Lutosławski Music School in Białystok also under Leszek Sokołowski, but he completed the diploma under mgr Krzysztof Sokołowski.
He attended Polish courses of music for soloists: the Zenon Brzewski International Music Courses in Łańcut, the International Music Course in Opole, and also courses abroad and for orchestras, such as: Summer Orchestra Workshops conducted by prof. Jan Stanienda and prof. Adam Wagner,
and Winter Orchestra Workshops conducted by Andrea Loss. He is the winner
of the 3rd place during the National Youth String Instruments Competition
in Elbląg. He occasionally cooperates with the Witold Lutosławski Chamber Philharmonic in Łomża. He is currently a student of the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk under prof. Leszek Sokołowski.
