Marcin Drużdż was born in Bytom in 1992. He took his first steps as a musician at the age of 7 in the piano class in the 1st and 2nd degree Frederic Chopin State Music School in Bytom. In 2003, he began learning to play the French horn under mgr Adrian Ticman, and from 2008 under mgr Henryk Frankowski.
He studied at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław in the French horn class under dr Adam Wolny, as well as at Musikhochschule Lübeck under prof. Christoph Kohler.
He has taken part in many master classes run by Radek Baborák, Jennifer Montone, Markus Maskuniitty or Christian-Friedrich Dallmann, among others.
He has cooperated with many orchestras, such as: National Forum
of Music in Wrocław, Lower Silesian Philharmonic in Jelenia Góra and Sudecka Philharmonic in Wałbrzych. Since 2014, he has been a French horn player at the Wrocław Opera.
His greatest achievements include the 3rd place in the 4th Edwin Golnik Polish Nationwide Competition for French Horn Players in Łódź (2015), or solo performance of Konzertstück by Robert Schumann at the National Forum
of Music in Wrocław in May 2016.
