Jarosław Nowak began to learn playing the French horn in 2008 at the Karol Szymanowski State Music School in Oświęcim, where he studied under mgr Krzysztof Paluchowski. Then he studied under the direction of mgr Kazimierz Pamuła at the Karol Szymanowski State Music School in Katowice, which he finished with distinction in 2016. He currently studies at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of dr hab. Damian Walentek.
He has achievements in competitions of nationwide and international importance, including the 2nd place at the 5th Polish Nationwide Ludwik Lutak Competition (Kraków, 2014), distinction at the Polish Nationwide Auditions
of the Artistic Education Centre (Toruń, 2014) and 3rd place at the 4th Polish Nationwide Competition for French Horn Players (Łódź, 2015).
He has taken part in workshops and master classes run by Christian Dallmann and Boštjan Lipovšek. He has also cooperated with many Polish orchestras, e.g. Silesian Philharmonic (as a soloist), Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, AUKSO Chamber Orchestra, Santander Orchestra and Lviv Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.
