Hanxuan Liang

French Horn / People's Republic of China

Hanxuan Liang was born in 1992 in Shanxi in China. He began learning to play the French horn at the age of 9 under prof. Bin Li. In 2004-2010, he studied
at the music school which is a part of the Central Conservatory of Music
in Beijing in the class of prof. Xiao-Ming Han, whereas since 2012 he has been
a student of prof. Rodovan Vlatkovic at the University of Zurich. He was the winner of the 2nd prize at the China Brass Solo Competition in Beijing in 2004 and the finalist of the International Horn Society Premier Soloist Competition
in London. During his stay in Great Britain, he was awarded the Britten-Pears Young Artist title. Hanxuan Liang has played with many orchestras, e.g.: National Youth Orchestra of China, China National Symphony Orchestra, Asian Youth Orchestra, Aldeburgh World Orchestra and Beirut International Youth Orchestra. As a soloist, he performed Concerto no. 3, KV 447 by Mozart with Sondershausen Orchestra.
