Duan Shaohua

Duan Shaohua was born in a musically-talented family. His father is a famous bassoon professor in China. He initially studied at the Central Music Conservatory in China, and then undertook studies at the University of Singapore and Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music. During his education,
he received a full government scholarship. Since 2015, he has been a student at the Trossingen University of Music in Germany in the class of Akio Koyama.
As a musician, he has performed with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra Stuttgart, Villingen-Schwenningen Symphony Orchestra, South West German Chamber Orchestra and Shaanxi Philharmonic Orchestra.
