Alejandra Rojas was born in Caracas and began her musical education through the well-known Venezuelan music education programme El Sistema. From 2008, she continued her studies in Spain under the guidance of Stefano Canuti at the Conservatory of Aragón and in English Royal Northern College of Music where she obtained her International Artist diploma. As a soloist, she has performed with the following orchestras: Manchester Camerata, Musica Vitae Chamber Orchestra, Wirral Symphony Orchestra and RNCM Chamber Orchestra. Alejandra had the opportunity to present herself during the Tokyo Double Reed Society convention and International Bassoon Festival in Rio de Janeiro in 2015. She also performed during the Mantova Chamber Music Festival. She took part in the workshops of the Gran Canarias Conservatory and Jerusalem Academy
of Music and Dance. As an orchestra musician, she has cooperated with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra and Mahler Chamber Orchestra.
