Albert Śliwiński completed the J. Elsner 2nd Degree State Music School
in Warsaw in the class of Kazimierz Jendrysiak with an excellent mark.
He is currently studying under Jan Kotula in the Karol Szymanowski Academy
of Music in Katowice. He is a laureate of the 1st Viola-Double Base Competition in Gdańsk in 2014 (3rd place) and 1st Double Base Competition in Kowalewo Pomorskie in 2017 (3rd place).
The same year he took part in the 2nd stage of the 10th B. Ciechański Double Base Competition in Poznań, and one year later he was in the final of the Anton Rubinstein Double Base Competition in Dusseldorf. Since 2015 he’s been receiving a scholarship of Zwierciadło Foundation. He’s cooperated with orchestras such as: the Young Polish the Philharmonic Orchestra,
the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra, the Warsaw Camerata,
the Polish Festival Orchestra. As a soloist he’s performed in the ballroom
of the Łańcut Castle during Zenon Brzewski Music Courses and in the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre of Music during the Winter Music Academy
in Lusławice (2018). He has participated in master classes provided, among others, by Bogusław Furtok, Miloslav Jelinek, Leszek Sokołowski, Michał Stadnicki, Wolfgang Guttler or Roman Patkolo.
